Examples at CES include smart shoes and a smart dog feeder.

If there's one thing to take away from this year's Consumer Electronics Show, it's that smart processors can be added to practically anything.

Showing off some of the latest devices to benefit from ARM technology, product manager Andy Moore was on hand to demonstrate smart shoes and a smart dog feeder dubbed Clever Pet. Check them out in the video above.

Pah, an Intel Atom powered dog feeder would be able to heat the dog food as well ;)
Fairly sure I've seen the dog feeder before, or something very similar.
Smart trainers - Another example of a product that offers you practically nothing useful apart from being something to spend money on. I think there is more to assessing your running gait than just how long your heel is on the floor.
I don't know if this is still true………

More arm processors are sold every 3 months than PCs (both intel/AMD/cyrix/etc) have ever existed.

Kind of puts things into perspective.
