Channel confidence
In the first of a new series on HEXUS.channel we invite Andrew Buxton, who heads up AMD's operations in the UK, to talk shop with editor Scott Bicheno in front of the TV cameras.
In this episode we discuss AMD's relationship with the UK channel, past, present and future, including how Buxton hopes the new Phenom II CPUs will be perceived by local system builders and consumers.
Inevitably we move on to the global recession and Buxton gives his opinion on how the UK channel and the technology industry on the whole are coping with it. We also explore the growing importance of the netbook to the PC industry.
