The wonders of GPS and Google Earth

GPS and Google Maps/Earth

The Garmin Forerunner 205 lets you upload your tracked data to MOTION BASED. There, you can track the route via Google Maps and Google Earth, as well as view a multitude of other statistics.

My trek can be found here, and the Google Earth kml file can be downloaded here. The overall timings are slightly skewed due to the data the method by which MOTION BASED interprets device data.

Finally, here's the altitude vs. time graph, as provided by the Forerunner 205.

That damn green line kept on going up.

Amazing acheivement, most folks will not realise just how tough something like that is in the kind of heat you were subjected to at this time of year.

Congrats.
