Wall-E, as adorable as they come
ET, the extra terrestrial, is one of my all time favourite characters. Pixar's Wall-E just so happens to remind me of ET, only in robot form, and is almost as adorable.
Having placed Wall-E as the fourth title in my 10 must see movies of 2008, I've high expectations for this one. If this trailer is anything to go by, Pixar could be on the verge of a tale that'll captivate us all.
Remember that Wall-E is a character that doesn't talk. He'll communicate through his expressions, gestures and the few robotic noises he can make. In just this short clip however you get a sense of just how beautiful the character is.
With nothing less than the astonishing animation you come to expect from Pixar and a character that could become as legendary as ET, Wall-E is undoubtedly one of the movies to see next year.
