The winner of Intel's newly-announced Digital Home short-film competition gets £5,000 cash and a digital home pack - an entertainment PC, a personal media player and more. Better still, he/she also wins a month-long internship in the world-renowned production centre at Pinewood Shepperton Studios.
Entrants compete to be on a shortlist of 10 by submitting a 500–1,000 word proposal for a film that must include a plausible "digital home scene". Each of the chosen 10 wins £500 towards the making of a film of no more than eight-minutes' duration - and the overall winner is picked from those 10 films.
