Officially licensed teams?

Will there be any officially licensed teams?
Tim:
The cost of licenses for official teams are enormous, but we're still looking into it and seeing how much the cost would impact on the gamers. We will be announcing proper plans for data down the line.
HEXUS:
Have you amended the controls in any way?
Tim:
It's still all about the pick up and playability. You can use either the d-pad or the thumb-stick, but you still only use one button to pass, shoot, tackle and save the ball.
HEXUS:
What type of Xbox live achievements can we expect?
Tim:We've still looking into that, but some of the suggestions are: scoring within 30 seconds, scoring from the half way line, and scoring 10 goals against the likes of Italy with a lower ranked team.

Are you working on cross platforms?
Tim:At the moment we haven't decided. Microsoft are excited about SWOS, it's got lots of potential, but until we've had a chance to really investigate we don't want to make a commitment one way or the other. But, it is something we're considering.
Following the brief chat I played a quick match and realised that it's still extremely difficult to master, but so much fun to play. Despite the updated graphics, it is exactly the same game on the pitch, but being able to play it over Xbox live should mean that the game will attract a new audience, who may never have had the chance to play the Amiga version, as well as those who already know just how great SWOS still is. There should be plenty of tournaments sites and leagues springing up across the net when the game launches, meaning that Sensible World Of Soccer should be a long lasting pick and play arcade game.
Sensible World of Soccer is still a supremely addictive football title and with it's budget price and Xbox live play there's no doubt that fans will jump at the chance to re-live one the best soccer titles in the history of video games.
