Japanese RPG Set For Online
Contact, a new game currently in development for the DS by Grasshopper and published by Marvelous Interactive, will be the handheld's first online RPG.
Gouichi Suda, known for directing Capcom's Killer 7 is behind the futuristic styled game.
The game is an RPG that follows an elderly professor as his spaceship crash lands on a strange planet. He enlists the help of a young man, named Cherry, who in addition to wielding magic spells and weapons, can change abilities by wearing different outfits
Contact is due for release in Japan in Februray with an European release to be announced. The official site contains no details on exactly how the game will work with Wi-Fi.
