3D combat and free-roaming combat

Atari has revealed that the next installment in the Naruto series will be developed exclusively for Playstation 3.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm will feature a free roaming environment, a roster of 25 characters and 3D combat, where players can unleash powerful jutsu attacks, perform acrobatic evasive manoeuvres and even run up walls and over water as they pursue their opponent for ninja supremacy.

They'll also be character customisation, so you can define your fighting style and they'll be head-to-head multiplayer fighting for up to two players.

Exploration will take place across the Hidden Leaf Village and the Forest of Death, where players can search every inch of these environments to take on 100 missions, collect valuable scrolls and interact with additional characters from the Naruto animated series. If you've played a Naruto game before then you'll know that these missions include races, special deliveries and large-scale battles against massive opponents.

guess it must be down to poor sales of the 360 version. It looked a really cool game, but i never checked it out. Maybe if they put a demo on live more people would have bought it. I only ever heard of one person playing this, and that was lee on here (iirc)
I reviewed the XBox 360 one. I thought it was brilliant. I'm disappointed that it's PS3 exclusive.

TBH the PS3 version looks better than the 360 version…

In fact I think it could possibly be the only game I'm jealous the PS3 has exclusive !

The cel-shading looks better and the animations seem more accurate to the anime…

I mean Rise of a Ninja was good but for sake of balance issues they removed a lot of the character's special techniques which annoyed me :angst:
360 poors mans PS3 Doh….

game looks good!
I've been meaning to pick Naruto up on the 360, just never got around to it.
