3D combat and free-roaming combat
Atari has revealed that the next installment in the Naruto series will be developed exclusively for Playstation 3.Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm will feature a free roaming environment, a roster of 25 characters and 3D combat, where players can unleash powerful jutsu attacks, perform acrobatic evasive manoeuvres and even run up walls and over water as they pursue their opponent for ninja supremacy.
They'll also be character customisation, so you can define your fighting style and they'll be head-to-head multiplayer fighting for up to two players.
Exploration will take place across the Hidden Leaf Village and the Forest of Death, where players can search every inch of these environments to take on 100 missions, collect valuable scrolls and interact with additional characters from the Naruto animated series. If you've played a Naruto game before then you'll know that these missions include races, special deliveries and large-scale battles against massive opponents.
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm is scheduled for European release in November 2008.
