Sony Computer Entertainment has today struck a deal with Atari that will see Terminal Reality's Ghostbusters game become a PS3 and PS2 exclusive, at least for the time being anyway.

The news comes just one month before its release so it's widely expected, though not confirmed, that the action adventure will also arrive on Xbox 360, Wii, DS, PSP and PC at a later date.

Ghostbusters is currently set for a June 2009 release to coincide with the launch of the Blu-ray version of the original film.

Ghostbusters was under the hands of Activision Blizzard, but it dropped the title following its merger with Activision last year. Though Atari rescued the title it has suffered more money problems of late and SCE has dived in to pick up the pieces.

Let's hope that all fans of the movie will get to play the game, not just those who own Sony's hardware.
