New PS3 Slim SKU takes up less power

The latest PS3 SKU, which now shrinks the GPU from 65nm to 45nm, means that manufacturing costs have dropped so Sony could finally be in a position to make money on each console sold.
The (CECH-2100A) revision also uses less power, a fifteen percent drop according to some sources. Other revisions include 2 x 128MB XDR Chips instead of 4x64MB, a smaller cooling system and a reduced power supply.
