During its third quarter earning call yesterday, Electronic Art's CEO John Riccitello spoke about how the company is hoping to capitalise on the success of Wii over the coming year by bringing a number of its core titles to the console, including the survival horror game, Dead Space.

"We're bringing core intellectual properties to the franchise in categories we think have legs on the Wii platform,"said Riccitiello. "A good example of this is Dead Space. We're bringing a Wii title to market this year and it is absolutely going to be the quality and fear factor that you got on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC SKU this past year."

Riccitiello didn't reveal any more Wii titles, but he did also confirm that sequels for Mass Effect and Battlefield Bad Company will appear on multiple platforms in early 2010 and revealed that Sims 3 will not hit its March launch date, but will now arrive in stores in the second quarter of 2009.

I wonder if the controls will be any less awful on the Wii than they are on the PC……
