Vivendi Universal's Scarface, originally developed for Xbox and PS2 last Autumn, will now be optimised for Nintendo's new console. If you think using the Wii-mote to garotte and beat the living daylights out of local businessmen in The Godfather (another recently announced Wii title) sounds like fun, Scarface should take interactive violence to a whole new level.

The controls wil be revamped for Wii, using the Wii pointer sytem for aiming, but we'll also be able to wield a chainsaw! By moving our controllers left and right we'll be able to cut the limbs off our foes.

Rumours suggest that Scarface will be available in the Spring, but it's unknown whether the game will take the same format and storyline as the original.

Check out our review of the Xbox and PS3 versions of Scarface. We loved it!

Is it just me or does violence on the Wii feel a bit “wrong”?

I mean I don't care about violent games (in fact their my favs) and CoD 3 had a great control system, but it somehow feels like your tainting the console. Weird :D

Not sure I like the look of Scarface, but it would be nice to see some more Red-Steel-esque games but with CoD 3-esque controls
graphics on the wii arent strong enough for this type of game. they should really just stick to the more cartoony, styleised visuals. its what its good at
Something like a XIII would be awesome mefinks
thats the cell shaded one right?
