We certainly won't be seeing the universal facial capture or UCAP technology that was used in the Xbox 360 version, but EA are hoping we'll be suitably impressed by these new Wii screenshots.

Fact
When EA Sports signed Tiger to work with their design teams on golf games in 1998, they planned a transition so that the PGA Tour Golf series would take on the "Tiger Woods" name. The evolution of the series has been continual since 1990 (as opposed to starting from scratch for the first Tiger product), so the gaming roots of the franchise are 15 years old!

There are currently no details available on the Wii version.

I read it was a bit pants as the power of your swing is by the length of the swing rather than the speed of it.

Plus I definitley think they could have tried harder on the graphics, those environments look like an Amiga A500!

yeah, it looks very directX7 and in 16bit too, to me!

Yeah, boring. If I wanted to physically play golf I'd go to the golf club. Golf videogames are good because they are relaxing and you don't have to swing the club.

Hmm kind of agree with you Steven, though if it's done well this could be good.

Reminds me I need to get myself down the range :)
