An adult thriller with a complex plot

One of the ways that achieved this level of immersion in Fahrenheit was through QTE's (quick time events) that allow for limited control of the game character at cinematic points in the game, and generally involves the player following on-screen prompts. Heavy Rain will be no different with QTE's playing a core part of the gameplay.

The storyline will revolve around four different characters and we understand that they'll be times in the game where we'll step into the shoes of all of them, seeing the action unfold from different viewpoints and getting to know the characters inside and out.

From a technical standpoint, Quantic Dream are pushing the visual boundaries with Heavy Rain, hoping to create the ultimate cinematic adventure, with realistic physic effects, advanced rendering features and character animation that includes the likes of pupil dilation and unprecedented facial expressions.

Heavy Rain certainly looks the part, now we just have to hope that, unlike Fahrenheit, the developer can create an entertaining experience from the beginning right to the very end. We've got high hopes for this one.

Heavy Rain is due for release on PS3 in 2010.

Really looking forward to this one :)
not too sure on this one, graphics look amazing but its just a quick time event all the way through which would be annoying as you have to keep watching constantly otherwise if you miss one you're buggered
