All beat up and nowhere to go, but the conclusion
All beat up…One of the things that has most impressed us about SSFIV: AE is that each fight seems more balanced than previous games, which gives those who aren't familiar with the roster and the move set a better fighting chance. Sagat, for example, is now less powerful and he dishes out less damage than before, so you don't feel over-rawed by his muscular frame. Furthermore, every character has ultra combos that can be performed more easily, which certainly things more accessible for those new to the series. There are some new ultra combos thrown in too, thus adding a new level of strategy to the combat with players being able to choose one of two hard-hitting showcase moves. Ryu, for example, now has a "Metsu-shoryuken" -- an extremely powerful Dragon Punch to add to his combat arsenal.
So, we're not going to dress it up much more than we have done already - Super Street FighterIV Arcade Edition is still Street Fighter as you know it, only more refined, with more characters, more variety and more depth to the fighting system. Street Fighter has always been a brilliant pick-up-and play title with vast replay value, and now these online modes make it even more so. Round Robin 8 player tournaments offer endless amounts of entertainment and various degrees of challenge for online gamers, while the Endless Battle Mode is a brilliant way to show that you're a great player by seeing off opponents time and time again and then standing proud in the arena while others queue up to take you on. Quite simply: Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition is an opportunity to experience the Street Fighter series at its very peak.
