Multi-player mode and conclusion

The multi-player mode of Warhammer: Mark of Chaos is where you’ll participate in some hard fought intense battles and, once the single player campaign is complete, is where you’ll find thousands of gamers spending hour upon hour perfecting their armies and their strategies, hoping to create an army that they can be proud of. The competitive nature of Warhammer fans offline will undoubtedly be projected into this online battlefield.

The option to be able to save these battles and send them to friends is an added bonus. You’ll be able to view saved files of some of the most strategically superior and vicious online matches and therefore be able to extract tips and tactics that may prove valuable in future battles.

The comprehensive selection of multiplayer modes includes co-op matches, skirmish one-on-one modes, siege, and an online campaign. With added clan support, including chat channels, an innovative stat-tracking system, map editing functionality and banner contests, the online community aspect of Warhammer: Mark of Chaos will be one that will grow and grow.

Warhammer: Mark of Chaos is every bit as good as I’d hoped. The user interface is extremely easy to use, the animation is superb and the AI is first-rate and react well to whatever situation they become caught up in. The customisable options are immense and the variety of missions and side objectives on offer are entertaining. The game has so much reply value, with the option to control other factions and the multiplayer mode, and the duels are intense affairs and a welcome addition to the genre. The range of spells and skills on offer ensure that there is plenty of variety to the gameplay, not to mention the brilliant formations, epic battles and solid graphics. Whether you’re new to the Warhammer world or and old friend I’m sure you’ll bask in the brilliance of this magical action strategy game.

Man I've been waiting for this for a long time. That said it will have to compete with the Dawn Of War trilogy and Medieval 2 for my time. If I can bagsy a freebie then I'll be ultra happy!
Execellent review there mr Steve.

Like Splash I also have yet to finish DOW, but once I have I will be buying this!

I played even more of Warhammer MOC last night after I'd wrote the review and I think I'll be ditching the other PC games I'm playing until I've completed that. Can't wait to create my own army and go online.
Nice review - I've just emailed my housemate the DoW fanatic with this review so I expect he'll be driving to game etc tomorrow to pick this one up.
Nice game. I've only played for a short while, but it definately looks good and there's lots of variety.
