Firefox 1.5.0.2, the latest version of the Mozilla Foundation's free web browser, is now available for download in versions for Windows (4.9MB), Linux (8.1MB) and Apple Mac OS X. Apple users can download two OS X versions - one 'universal' (16MB) that works natively on Intel-based and PowerPC-based Macs, the other only for PowerPC Macs (9.5MB).
Version 1.5.0.2 is said to offer improved stability, a number of security fixes and a bunch of bug fixes. More details of those over at Burning Edge. If you're not using Firefox, we at HEXUS would urge you to try it out - it's generally regarded as much more secure than Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser. As is, the program offers a number of features not yet available in IE - notably tabs for tidier browsing of multiple sites - with a huge number of additional features being available by installing free third-party extensions.
