CeBIT, Hanover (Germany), March 5th, 2013 - Today G Data presents its new security solutions for home users at CeBIT 2013. With the 2014 security generation, G Data once again sets the standard when it comes to security. G Data AntiVirus 2014, G Data InternetSecurity 2014 and G Data TotalProtection 2014 now come with an active hybrid protection technology, G Data CloseGap. The new technology "Made in Germany" quickly closes holes in the computer's defence ring and saves resources. G Data CloseGap com-bines signature-based and proactive protection technologies in a new, insurmountable wall of defence. For example, the BankGuard module, also recently developed, offers defence against dangerous banking Trojans in real time without relying on signatures - whether the malware is one hour or one second old. Thanks to the completely redesigned one click user interface, the security solutions are ex-tremely easy to use. Virus scans, backups and setting up the new AutostartManager are possible with just one mouse click. Device control in G Data TotalProtection 2014, which is also new, offers addi-tional protection and ensures that other users cannot use unwanted USB sticks or DVDs on the home computer.
