Perfect for CULV platforms

Turbo Boost apparently won't initially be offered at entry level, but will be a key feature on mainstream and high-end models, according to Eden, who also claimed it would act as a significant advantage on CULV platforms owing to the thermal constraints dictated by the form factor. Eden also mentioned that there would be a graphics turbo at some point in the future.

"The Turbo idea is integrated very nicely into the HUGI concept," said Eden referring to Intel's "Hurry Up, Get Idle" slogan. "PCs that won't have turbo won't be competitive," he continued, adding, "we'll continue to look for more ways to push HUGI forward."

"Immersive computing is not rocket science," he added with just a tad of condescension. "People are working on it. Our challenge as developers now is to come up with the devices people want," he concluded.
