The rumour-vine delivered some rather unripe produce a few days ago, but Apple delivered its iOS 4.3 software update yesterday for supported iPhone, iPod and iPad devices.

Going wild two days before official Stateside availability of the iPad 2, Apple brings iOS 4.3 nutrition to the iPhone 4 (GSM), iPhone 3GS, iPad and iPod touch (3rd and 4th generation) platforms.

Not forgetting the insect-repellent (bug fixes) that the latest software update brings, if infusing some of Apple's naturally-sweetened features - Personal Hotspot, iTunes Home Sharing, AirPlay Enhancements, or super-charged Safari browser performance sounds like pure indulgence, you can use iTunes to do the deed.

Go get it while it's fresh?

Presumably this personal hotspot feature doesn't allow you to surreptitiously circumvent the add-on policies for tethering?
I might upgrade on my ipod touch if I can be bothered - not that much else that interests me and obviously the personal hotspot isn't going to help me!
Most networks block Hotspot (Which has replace tethering) three on the other hand do not. As soon as my contract ends in April i'm moving to there SIM only deal away from O2.
and the race begins to jailbreak it ?

Don't trust their customer service. If possible, record the phone call so you can use it as proof if need be (i.e. when you discover what they told you was lies and they tell you there's nothing they can do). :censored:
T mobile doesnt seem to block hotspots either and their customer service has been fine so for with me. I have heard afew horror stories about three in the past but things might have changed recently.
