In that regard, and in common with almost all other SSDs, it does the job well.
It also does well in sequential tests that move large amounts of data around - which is just the kind of workload Toshiba expects - though frailties become more readily apparent as we really knock the drive into shape through a serious of more stringent tests that focus on writing performance.
We believe that other entry-level SSDs offer better across-the-board performance, but those improvements are limited to academic testing that will not show up in day-to-day usage.
The TR200's combination of reasonable pricing, wholesome write endurance, and big-name backing are plus points, yet we feel as if there are better drives elsewhere, most notable the Crucial BX300.
