I remember being at college when 1GB of memory would have filled a room - yet now I can buy a 2GB MicroSD cards the size of my fingernail that slips neatly into my PDA for capturing video etc

The kind of breakthroughs that Mario Pannicia and the Intel Photonics Lab are making could easily see that same level of shrinkage become possible over the next few years

The ‘light stuff’ is facinating because, in all likelyhood, it won't suffer from the same kind of leakage issues that current technology is plagued with - and the top end speeds promise to be far higher

I'm gonna go polish me crystal balls and see if I can work out what the systems of 2020 will look like !
Can i just say guys, i was expecting Hexus.Tv to be a bit itv1 ie lowest common denominator trash tv.

its rough n ready, but the content is intresting, original and good. Keep it up :)

…i was expecting…
To be honest, the challenge right now is that we are working with very simple, single page site that does not allow us to categorise

The new site is almost done (when have you heard that before!!!) and - once we roll that out - we will be able to ‘bunch’ content intelligently

Personally, I think Nick cooking cornflakes with Stella Artois (http://www.hexus.tv/show.php?show=130), hearing Intel's CTO tell us about the 3D web of the future (http://www.hexus.tv/show.php?show=155), seeing Harpertown in action for the first time (http://www.hexus.tv/show.php?show=151) and peaking the latest Video Pipeline from the HEXUS.lab (http://www.hexus.tv/show.php?show=160) is all good fun…

…but would be ‘enhanced’ with (a little more) ‘categorisation’

Thanks for your feedback and ideas - we really appreciate it - and will be taking everything you guys tell us on board to make sure this channel keeps improving
