Virgin Media today announced a wide range of festive treats this Christmas through its TV on Demand line-up, featuring a month packed with must-see series, movies, music and kids shows. The launch of Demand Five in November makes Virgin Media the only on demand platform to carry catch-up for the full set of terrestrial channels, so there’ll be no excuse for missing the finals of The X Factor or Strictly Come Dancing, The Doctor Who Christmas Specials, or even the latest episode of Neighbours.

December highlights for TV Choice on Demand include the entire first seasons of popular U.S series 30 Rock, Heroes, House, The Office U.S and Lipstick Jungle as Virgin Media launches its all-new ‘US Box Sets’ collection.For the best comedy this Christmas, customers can catch-up on the first three seasons ofThe Big Bang Theory from WarnerTV, as well as every single episode ever of The Inbetweeners from 4oD.

Virgin Media Movies On Demand has some extra special HD and 3D blockbusters this Christmas including Christopher Nolan’s mind blowing Inception andthe third instalment of The Twilight Saga, Eclipse:both available the same day as their DVD release. Everyone’s favourite band of anarchical heroesThe A-Team make an appearance late in the month, and there’s plenty more action as Tom Cruise teams up with Cameron Diaz in Knight and Day.

For those lucky enough to find a shiny new 3D TV under the tree, we’ve got a dance extravaganza in store as Step Up 3D joins Streetdance 3D on the 12th. Virgin Media has also lined up some Christmas classics from Bing Crosby to Wham! to watch in the ‘Christmas Crackers’ folder, and for families who would like to sing along to their favourites this festive season, the ‘Xmas Karaoke’ folder has everything from ‘All I Want For Christmas is You’ to ‘Frosty the Snowman’: all available throughout December.

The festive season wouldn’t be the same without classic Christmas comedy specials so Virgin Media has lined up a full festive feast of episodes in a new ‘Ultimate Christmas’ collection featuring Father Ted,Catherine Tate, Little Britain and Friends, as well as many more classics. And for families looking to occupy the kids there’s the ‘Ultimate Kids Christmas’ collection to spoil them as Virgin Media presents an enormous collection of old and new episodes from shows such as Tom and Jerry, The Flintstones,Garfield and Dr Seuss’: How the Grinch Sold Christmas.
