Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online gives players the choice of three different classes of Ghost, fully customisable weaponry, cutting edge military tech and detailed communication with the rest of their squad, says Ubisoft.
The publisher also goes on to promise a "rich lobby platform" plus "social and persistent progression features" including regular events, updates and customised content.
"The online features complement Ghost Recon Online's rich graphical environments and maps, which rival the quality of those traditionally seen only in retail games," the official announcement reads. "And while the game is free for anyone to play, players also can purchase premium items and fully personalize their experience."
