Strengthening its international business in distributor-based markets, Codemasters today announced the appointment of Hal Bame as Director, Distributor Territories.Prior to joining Codemasters, Bame spent five years as Sales and Marketing Manager, Distributor Markets, for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe where he developed the PlayStation business in Russia/CIS, Central Europe and Eastern Europe. Most recently, Bame worked on the formation of Sony Computer Entertainment Polska Sp. z.o.o. As Director, Distributor Territories, Bame reports to Tony Williams, chief operating officer, Codemasters.
Further appointments to the Distributor Territories division include Felix Bradshaw, previously Senior Key Account Manager for Codemasters’ UK publishing operation, as International Sales Manager, Distributor Territories. He is supported by Leasal Chapple-Hyam, Codemasters’ long-standing international representative, who becomes Business Operations Executive.
The Distributor Territories division will work with Codemasters’ distribution partners across territories including Spain, Australia, Italy, Russia/CIS, Scandinavia, Benelux, Greece, South Africa and drive business in emerging markets, such as Eastern Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and India.
