Looking like it’s set to become the Glastonbury of the LAN world and hard on the heels of DROME, Campzone is set to kick off on the 22nd July. Running for 11 days until the 1st August, Campzone claims to be the largest OUTDOOR LAN party in the world with up to 1750 players.
International game publisher and main sponsor Codemasters, known for franchises like TOCA/DTM/V8 Race Driver and Colin McRae Rally, will exclusively show their upcoming games during the event. This year will be the third time that Codemasters is the main sponsor of Campzone. In addition some gamers bring their own sponsors in the form of major PC peripheral brands. Campzone is organised by GameParty.net; the largest organiser of PC LAN events in the Benelux, service provider for network gaming and known for its Best of Benelux Tournaments.
The organizers have thought of everything with tents, chairs and tables all available for rental… and if you’re worried about power and networking in a field, then fear not as they’ve successfully done this for a few years now.
