I believe Massively had some going free, but as always they don't last very long due to the masses that want to try out the game before purchase.

Keep an eye on IGN, Massively and other big sites for potential Beta Key giveaways though.
Any one had the luck to get one, tried getting one, but no luck.
nah no luck, and i aint paying the price tag until i play it a little :)
I'd love people to post experiences, as i am a huge Star Trek fan, however have generally been burnt by most ST games. Plus, i think that the trailer looks generally rubbish - the graphics look straight out of 2005, and have been rendered at about 10 fps (i'm sure this is probably just down to the encoding, however leaves an impression of the game itself being slow and stuttery).
Oh, and as for content, the trailer suggests that its just one big frag-fest, either land-based or space.

I just hope that they picked an idiot to make the trailer, rather than the trailer being accurate about the game….
