In a blast from the past, and the future, Telltale's Back to the Future: The Game launches today, Wednesday December 22.

The five-part season's first episode "It's About Time!" will be available for PC and Mac platforms. The series will debut on the PlayStation Network and iPad platforms in early 2011.

Back to the Future: The Game brings 'Marty McFly', 'Doc Brown' and the DeLorean Time Machine together in a completely new cinematic adventure, which unfolds over five episodes. Six months after the events of the third film, the DeLorean Time Machine mysteriously returns to Hill Valley. 'Marty' must go back in time and recruit aid from a resistant teenage 'Emmett Brown', or else the space-time continuum will be forever unraveled. Back to the Future: The Game features the likenesses of the original stars that made the characters of 'Marty McFly' and 'Doc Brown' legendary: Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd. Lloyd is voicing 'Doc Brown' for the full game series.

Check out the trailer.

All the money used up on getting Chris and Michael and none left over for graphics then?
They didn't use Michael, for whatever reason, they used a voice actor… and a damn good one he is by the sounds of it!

What gets me though, I have never heard anything about this game until yesterday, and I have looked everywhere but absolutely CANNOT find any videos or information about what kind of game this is??
I watched that movie till 1:12 to find out if it was coming out for the PC.

I also suppose I'd better watch the films first. (Never have bothered.)
Just re-read my own comment…

I meant the YouTube “movie” on the Hexus page, linked to by hexus.admin in comment one (not one of the trilogy movies at 1:12 or 76 minutes in).
