Electronic Arts has revealed the minimum, recommended and high performance specs for upcoming FPS blockbuster sequel Crysis 3. Crysis 2 is a current fixture in HEXUS graphic card benchmarks and has been for nearly a year. Such is the game franchise’s well-known appetite for CPU and GPU grunt that “Yeah, but can it run Crysis?” has become an internet meme.
Crysis 3 minimum system operating requirements for PC are:
- Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8
- DirectX 11 graphics card with 1Gb Video RAM
- Dual core CPU
- 2GB Memory (3GB on Vista)

Nvidia GTS 450
Intel Core2 Duo 2.4 Ghz (E6600) - Example 2 (AMD):
AMD Radeon HD5770
AMD Athlon64 X2 2.7 Ghz (5200+)
EA also lists the recommended system operating requirements for PC which includes the above but upgrades to a quad core CPU and Nvidia GTX 560 or better or AMD Radeon HD5870 or better.
