Modern Warfare 2 DLC released today

Today sees the release of the incredibly popular Stimulus Package map pack for the PS3 and PC.

The DLC includes three new and exciting multiplayer maps; Bailout, Salvage and Storm and two remakes from Call of Duty 4; Crash and Overgrown. There are also a couple of new game modes thrown in too; Stimulus and Hardcore Stimulus.

Here are a few short descriptions of each of the maps:

·         Bailout – an overrun apartment complex.

·         Salvage – a snow covered junkyard.

·         Storm – abandoned warehouses, raining.

·         Crash – war-torn urban environment.

·         Overgrown – dry river bed through a village.

The pack has been available on the Xbox 360 for a month now, on the Live network it smashed the Live download record with more than 1 million downloads in the first 24 hours, going on to surpass 2.5 million within the first week.

The Stimulus Package is selling for £10.79 on Steam and PSN right now, but RRP is £11.99. A lot of people feel this is too expensive for 5 maps, let us know what you think in the HEXUS Forums.

£10.79 is too high. I paid £38 for the game and now £10.79 for DLC! and then anothe r£10.79 a few months later for 2nd DLC!

Plus, out of the 5 maps, 2 are old and one of them is a join between two maps from COD4.
that price is getting pretty close to the price of an expansion pack for a normal game.

Way Way Way too high
Does seem quite high, interesting considering they gave us the map pack for free last time in COD4
It's simple - vote with your wallets and refuse to buy it if it's too expensive. I bet it'll be half the price come the end of the summer.
