The signs are good
Ahead of its European release on November 16th, Nintendo's highly anticipated 3D action platformer, Super Mario Galaxy has been receiving huge review scores across the net.The game was launched in Japan last week and has received a huge response from gamers who have snapped up approximately 250,000 copies in the last 7 days with the game selling more than the whole of the Japanese top ten combined.
Like previous 3D Mario games, the main objective is to collect Stars, which are awarded by completing tasks or defeating enemies. The game's central hub is set in the Comet Observatory, which is divided into six themed areas: the Terrace, Fountain, Kitchen, Bedroom, Engine Room, and Loft. Distributed among these six worlds are 40 "galaxies," or levels with 1 to 3 stars each. Obtaining these stars allows the player to unlock more galaxies within each themed area.
