Hedgehog to be revamped

IGN have reported that an exclusive Sonic the Hedgehog title is in development for the Nintendo Revolution. Although nothing has been confirmed by Sega it seems an obvious choice for Nintendo's next gen console. Sonic is the flagship character and mascot for Sega and has appeared in over 40 games. Whether the character would be re-designed for the Revolution is unknown.

Sonic games have always been popular and the hope of a brand new game exclusive to the Revolution would be a wise move by Nintendo. especially if it were to be a launch title. The information was received from an insider close to Sega.

The following titles have already been confirmed for the Revolution:

Untitled Animal Crossing project
Beijing 2008 Olympic Games
Untitled Camelot RPG
The Darkness
Untitled Donkey Kong project
Untitled Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Project
Killing Day
Untitled The Legend of Zelda project

Untitled Minoru Nakai Project
