Fuelled with fury

Alongside this summer's movie, SEGA will be unleashing The Incredible Hulk onto consoles and PC in a third person action adventure, where you smash your way through New York City.

The game will feature moments from the film, as well as additional plotlines and characters from the character’s rich comic-book universe.

Free-roaming gameplay and unlimited destruction will be two of the key features as players use the Hulk and the environment as a weapon of destruction, smashing cars to pieces, pulling up street lamps and picking up pieces of crumbling buildings and hurling them at foes. The persistent damage feature will allow players to access previously unreachable areas.

Of course, they'll be plenty of hand-to-hand combat and the Hulk will have a range of special moves that can be upgraded at the end of each level. He'll also have a rage metre, that you can power-up to unleash a devastating attack strong enough to send a building to the ground.

SEGA is keen to point out the open world in the game, which will be a representation of Manhattan, with towering skyscapers allowing for vertically-based gameplay. We're also assured that they'll be many of the Hulk's enemies to tackle, including Bi-Beast

Finally, SEGA say the gameplay will take the form of missions, sub-quests and mini-games and will feature a storyline that beyond the film and into the Marvel comics.

The film, which will feature Edward Nortoin, Liv Tyler and Tim Roth is due for release in June, so we can expect to see the videogame around that time.

From my experience when they make games out of films they are normally below average. However I will keep a look out to how this turns out :)
