Performance Designed Products (PDP) has showcased its latest motion-sensing peripheral at the Game Developer's Conference this week and now hopes that Nintendo will officially license the device in time for its scheduled release date of Autumn 2009.

The chunky DS stylus can be moved away from the DS screen but will still register with every stroke made. It also features vibration feedback and may be equipped with LEDs and sound if it gets approved by Nintendo.

PDP is also the company behind GameTrak Freedom the upcoming ultrasonic 3D motion sensing device that connects to your Xbox 360 and "tracks the true 3D position and precise movements of up to four players anywhere within a given environment." The product has been approved by Microsoft and will be first used in a series of mini-games entitled Squeeballs, also scheduled for release in the Autumn.
