Spring-time map action
Activision has bought word that both the Xbox 360 and PS3 version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will have new multiplayer maps added to the roster this Spring.They could have waited to tell us this news when they actually have details of these maps and a firm delivery date, but any excuse to remind us that Call of Duty 4 is the best-selling game of 2007 is bound to be taken.
“We’ve demonstrated our commitment to delivering the best multiplayer experience in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and that continues with our plans for new downloadable content,” explains Infinity Ward’s Community Manager, Robert Bowling. “We’re excited about the new maps, and the added gameplay variety, and we can’t wait to wrap things up and get online with everyone.”
Well who are we to stop them bragging? The game deserves all the plaudits. From the press release:
