Speaking at the Game Developer's Conference in Paris today, EA's DICE Studio has revealed that it currently has five games based on its Battlefield franchise currently in development.

"Since the start of this year I've been working as executive producer for the entire Battlefield franchise," said Cousins, during his keynote at GDC. "We've got five titles in development at the moment, which is probably more than you expect."

One of those titles is certainly the free-to-play cartoon shooter, Battlefield Heroes, which is currently at beta stage and this week sees the release of Battlefield Bad Company, but what about the other three?

Well, Ben Cousens, executive producer at EA's DICE studio, has hinted that one of the titles will be a traditional Battlefield game for the console market and another will be a game developed with Neowiz, an onlne gaming company, for the Korean market. EA owns about a 15% stake in Neowiz and has seen success in Korea with FIFA Online, which currently has approximately 5 million subscribers.

So that's four titles we know about, presuming of course that the new Battlefield Bad Company is included in the five, but what about that last game? A strategy title perhaps?
