Following the closure of Flagship Studios in August 2008, the developer's one and only title, the dark fantasy-themed action role-playing game, Hellgate: London, was left with an uncertain future.

However, Namco Bandai Games America, has now announced that despite the misfortune of the developer they will continue to support customers of the PC title with online server support and play through January 31, 2009.

In a further gesture of support, Namco Bandai Games will provide this server support free of charge to all fans and players of the game up until the shut down date.

Hellgate: London received mixed reviews in the press and received bad publicity after one of the game's designers described the situation at Flagship Studios, prior to its closure - and the game itself- as 'depressing'.

How much was the life subscription?

I dont think they did life subscriptions apart from people who pre-ordered it which was free, they did a monthly sub and thats all i think. Glad i didnt pay for a sub, cos it didnt give you much. Shame its closing because there was alot of potential from the game.
$150 for Founders offer (Lifetime sub)
