November 10th, 2009 - that's a date most gamers will be etching onto their calendars, as it's the day upon which Infinity Ward has decided to deploy Modern Warfare 2.
Sequel to the hugely-popular Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, the next major release in the series is said to be dropping its Call of Duty tag and will be known simply as Modern Warfare 2. Whilst we're still unsure as to whether or not November 10th will be the date of a global launch, we've an interesting teaser trailer to help build up our expectations.
At first glance, it doesn't seem to show a whole lot, but visit the all-new Modern Warfare 2 website and you'll find an analyse button that lets you closely examine the teaser to your heart's content. As expected, the Internet's already buzzing with hype as gamers from across the globe examine the footage frame by frame.
We tend not to get carried away, but given the sheer brilliance of Call of Duty 4's multiplayer experience, we'd be lying if we said we weren't just a tad excited.
