Call of Duty: Vietnam confirmed

Activision will be announcing specific details of its upcoming game sometime today, but in the meantime, it has been revealed that the next game in the series will be based in the Vietnam era.

The title for its latest game may not actually be Call of Duty: Vietnam, but it’s certainly going to be set there.

To see a game based in Vietnam is rare, and a first for the Call of Duty series, but it seems that Activision is going to be trying new approaches with its amazingly popular franchise.

It seems that the recent backlash at Infinity Ward isn't going to affect the series much, with Activision planning on releasing three new Call of Duty games in the next two years.

Stay tuned to HEXUS for more.

<Looks at Battlefield: vietname on shelf>

Activision are sure planning to milk the COD name for every penny - If battlefield has done it we better had to!
The new COD site has gone live early.

COD:Black Ops

Not sure where the vietnam came from unles it's related?
yeah this seems a bit wierd :/
I think i mentioned this a while ago as the WW2 is done to death, WW1 isn't that great for a game story and the modern titles aren't great so it was this or Falklands (but unlikely as Americans probably haven't heard of it)
