Electronic Arts has today announced that Medal of Honor is now recruiting players for a massive global multiplayer beta test that starts on June 21.

Players will be granted early access to two maps on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. EA also announced today that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 VIPs who have pre-ordered Medal of Honor, will be able to enter the multiplayer beta even earlier; starting June 17.

The Medal of Honor multiplayer beta features two modes set across two maps inspired by real world locations: Helmand Valley and Kabul City Ruins. In Team Assault mode, players must rely on their raw skill and map knowledge to stay alive in intense and close quarter combat. In Combat Mission, a tactical and team-based mode, gamers fight through a series of objectives revealed through an engaging narrative. Both modes pit two teams of 12 players (total 24 players) against one another with destruction, tactical support actions, and a weapon customization system with modifications that generate hundreds of combinations.

Separately, the Medal of Honor single-player campaign is being developed by EALA who has been working closely with Tier 1 Operators from the U.S. Special Operations Community to create the most authentic modern war experience possible.

rubbish. Looks like COD4 :(. a miss for me
The last outing was terrible, lean on a console.. pft >_<
Only if the CEO will kiss my arse and give me a €10,000/m salary for doing their bug testing for them. I don't do freebes for companies who treat me like a criminal for buying their goods.
No chance, I have seen the 11 minute gameplay video of the MoH. Looks exactly like MW2. Guns have no recoil (noob fest anyone?). Everything is point based, everytime you kill an enemy, you get a distracting thingy on your screen informing you of your 11yr old like mind sucks ass.
Will wait for a demo or someone else to buy it and see what its like :P

Although if one of the etailers do the usual sub £15 pre orders then I will most likely pre-order it for that price.
