Having already announced that Crysis 2 will be released before March 2011, Electronic Arts has now confirmed the launch date in North America and Europe.

The first person shooter will launch on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 in North America on March 22, 2011 and Europe on March 25, 2011. According to Crytek, Crysis 2 will also be playable on stereoscopic 3D.

Whichever version takes your fancy, keep your eyes peeled for the beta phase which is due to launch later this year.
