Unsurprisingly, considering the huge amount of hype surrounding the new Medal Of Honor game, EA's shooter has shot straight to number one in the U.K. multi-format video game charts, knocking FIFA 11 off the top spot.

Other new entries include Ubisfot's Just Dance 2 which has charted at number 3, and Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 which debuts at number 11.

Nintendo still holds an impressive presence in the top 20, with Wii Party, Wii Sports Resorts and New Super Mario Bros continuing to shift units.
