English novelist and former SAS operative and soldier, Andy McNab, has been drafted in by EA’s DICE studio to help create a book that ties in with the release of the first-person shooter later this year.

In fact, the book is already listed for pre-order on Amazon as co-written by Patrick Bach from the DICE team, suggesting that its narrative will be taken directly from the single player storyline rather than being a spin-off.



The book contains 400 pages of a storyline that has so far been kept well under wraps and is due to launch on 25th October, 2011 to coincide with the launch of the game.
