Nvidia has announced that it is working with Ubisoft to give away a copy of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist Deluxe Edition for PC to buyers of a GeForce GTX 660, 660 Ti, 670, 680, 760, 770, or 780 from a participating retailer. The offer starts today and you can read the full details of the offer when it becomes live (when our American friends get out of bed and update the website.)

So the offer starts today but the game, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist Deluxe Edition for PC, will not be available in the UK until 23rd August 2013. (The rest of Europe can get the game one day earlier). There may be quite a few of you about to plump for an Nvidia graphics card with the recent release of the Nvidia GTX 760 cards around the popular £200 price point, like the MSI GeForce GTX 760 Twin Frozr we reviewed yesterday.

The Nvidia press release we received informs us that Nvidia and Ubisoft have worked together to incorporate a lot of PC-only technological enhancements in this version of the game "including Direct X tessellation, NVIDIA HBAO+, TXAA antialiasing and surround technologies to ensure gamers can experience smooth frame rates and awesome visuals in all of their covert missions."

This new Splinter Cell game has the following synopsis; "In Splinter Cell Blacklist, Sam Fisher returns as leader of 4th Echelon, an elite counter-terrorism unit armed with a new mandate to hunt down the masterminds behind The Blacklist, a series of deadly escalating attacks on U.S. interests. To stop the Blacklist countdown, gamers will choose the best way to face any challenge by tapping into Sam’s arsenal of lethal skills and training." Ubisoft go on to promise this will be the biggest game in the award winning series. The game will feature an "immersive single player story, distinct co-op missions, and the return of the legendary Spies Vs. Mercs multiplayer mode". There will also be a raft of customisation options open to players to make the game experience their own.

We are informed that this bundle offer will remain until 31st December 3013 "or until The Blacklist countdown is eradicated," whichever of those events happens first.

I pre-ordered a 660ti two days ago… Good thing I have no interest in the Splinter Cell games, or I'd be really annoyed right now!
Are Nvidia taking the urine out of their early adopting customers?

Early GTX 780 adoptors having to worry about crap release drivers, and cannot back date to 314.22 drivers like everyone else, then when they sort the issue Nvidia decide to give all people buying the whole 7 series cards a free game…

And some of the cards are a lower price now - which is obviously expected, will never early adopt a graphics card again, I know it's just a free game but still…

Seriously, I coudn't even make this up in my wildest of dreams…! :whip:
Expletive - just bought a kfa2 gtx660 last week - got Metro LL - Oh err - which is better??
I would have been interested in this….had i not had my splinter cell experience ruined by double agent :(
i just bought a gigabyte GTX660 yesterday :D
