Conclusion

...an easy-to-use 240mm package whose claim to fame is a svelte 22mm radiator and a duo of thin 15mm fans.

All-in-one liquid coolers have been made readily available by a wide range of enthusiast brands, and finding a solution that fits your needs tends to require very little effort.

Great news for the consumer looking to quickly and easily upgrade their CPU cooler, but for manufacturers it is becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate one all-in-one solution from the next. SilverStone usually finds a way to stand out from the crowd and has produced a closed-loop package that's different to the norm and designed for a specific usage scenario.

Dubbed the TD02-Slim, it's an easy-to-use 240mm package whose claim to fame is a svelte 22mm radiator and a duo of thin 15mm fans.

A combined 37mm thickness makes it one of the most versatile liquid coolers in its class, however whilst chassis compatibility is enhanced, cooling performance is naturally going to suffer and herein lies the dilemma: will users of a 240mm radiator be willing to accept such performance limitations? We're not so sure, but if space is at a premium and liquid cooling is a priority, SilverStone's TD02-Slim at least gives you an option.

The Good

The Bad
Useful if space is limited
Copes well with an overclocked CPU
Simple all-in-one installation

Inevitable performance sacrifice
Pump not the quietest

It's a nice option for a small case with limited cooler space but requring liquid cooling. I would like to see more flexible tubes than TD02.
Fantastic Product for Media PC/Steambox PC!

Im am using the TD02-Slim with a “single” SP120 PWN Performance and a second SP120 Quiet on the case for a steambox build usng a Raven RVZ01, GTZ 970 Mini and it works & fits perfect. This is the solution for those mediaPC/Steambox builds. Im using a 4790K overclocked to 4.5Ghz and im sitting idle at 38 degrees, crysys 3 running at around 50 degrees ((1920x1080).

Review here includes TD02-Slim in steambox build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUPeJ67OB88
This cooler still misses the choice to be an ideal solution for everyone.

But thats just it, its there to solve the space problem and it a niche product. Only users like myself with limited space would consider this?

Agree w. darkKnight54 and I'm not sure there is such a thing as an ideal solution for everyone. There's a web of trade-offs between size, noise, price and cooling performance. I'm glad to see the market offering a range of CPU cooling products from which we can choose. Just wish we had the same range & variety for GPU cooling.
